had the best weekend in a long time. baked a cake, tried out a new recipe, read a book, bought some flowers, spent an unhealthy amount of time with the tv and failed miserably at bowling.

life is good, great, excellent.

last night, i went to bed and couldn't sleep till 2.30am cos i was looking at clothes -___-

i love proenza schouler's new spring collection!

i like how their collection started off with just plain minimalist black and white. i didn't really like a lot of them but here are the ones i did like!

i thought the shirt-tied-around-the-waist idea was GENIUS. GENIUS, i tell you! and the SHOES are gorgeous!

oh and then come my favourite pieces! it's like scuba+hippie on acid and every model looks like a different type of fish. i mean, who would've thought spring-coral and not spring-floral!

SIGH I WANT.. next post, oscar de la renta. would blog all of it now but thought that'd be overkill.

I hate making decisions. I really hate choosing. Where to eat, what kind of butter to get, which looks better on me; the green or the blue?

I like having options, knowing I have an exit door instead of no entries.

I'm going through an emotional breakdown because I don't know which polaroid to get. Haiya.

nothing-in-nottingham, PFFT

Recently I went to Nottingham for a day, to.. SHOP. Surprisingly enough, Nottingham's stuff were really SO CHEAP. And everyone there dresses so kookily, I was tempted to ask them where they got all their clothes from. I was so happy to see one of them at the store I went to visit, so I saved myself the embarrassment of having to ask :)

It was amazing. Super duper cheap stuff seriously. We went to 3 stores; Cow, Vintage Warehouse and Wild (if only we had more time...) A mountainous amount of clothes and bags, lines and lines of shoes and boots, buckets of braces and ties! IT WAS AMAZING.

I didn't buy THAT MUCH, my friend had like 4 bags and spent like £150. HAHA! THANK YOU JIE SHI FOR BEING CAMERAWOMAN AND FOR ORGANISING THE WHOLE THING!

COW; very very cheap but not as much stuff as VINTAGE WAREHOUSE, of course.

To show you how cheap everything was, here's a whole price list of what I bought.

4. Kiruba the Elephant: £3 pounds a month (okay I didn't get her in Nottingham but I thought she deserved a feature. Adopt one here: WWF. )

7. Camera necklace: £12 (MOST "expensive" thing I bought.. seriously!)
8. Blue knitwear top: £5
9. Leather ties; grey, black & electric blue (notinpicture): £5 for all
10. Dirty grey all stars: £6

GRAND TOTAL OF: £61

OK no more shopping for another.. 6 months. Maybe 3.. possibly 1.
