will you still meet me on the sunny road?

I love looking up song meanings - maybe cos I'm not poetic enough to make up one myself :)

#1 turtlegurl
I think that the girl in the song was with a man/boy/whatever and they were in love, however, she needed time to figure out what she wanted in life/from their relationship, but it takes her years and she's unsure if he still loves her. So when she sings ''it's time, meet me on the sunny road'' it means that she's ready to be with him, and knows what she wants from the rest of her life.

#2 In the Garden
It's about a girl who wasn't ready to commit yet. She does have that picket fence dream with a husband, kids and all, but not just yet. And so she left her love. She traveled and was gone for a long time, did all that she thinks are her heart's desires.

But eventually she got tired and things didn't make sense anymore. And what made sense to her now is to have her love back in her life. She's now ready and she's hoping the guy's still there, hence the letter.

Hopefully they'll meet on the Sunny Road.

These may not be right at all, but who cares!
